Project Overview:
We were appointed to carry out roof refurbishment works at Gibbs & Dandy’s Cambridge warehouse to address corrosion, restore protection, and improve the overall durability of the roof structure.
Works Carried Out:
• Roof Preparation:
• Jet washed the entire 2,000 sqm roof at 3,500 psi to remove dirt, debris, and any loose material.
• All end laps with rust issues were ground back and treated to meet specified requirements, preventing further corrosion.
• Roof Coating:
• Applied Rust-Oleum Noxyde® Plus, a high-performance waterproof and anti-corrosion coating, to ensure long-term protection and a professional, uniform finish.
Outcome:
The project was completed on schedule, providing the warehouse roof with enhanced weather resistance, corrosion protection, and extended lifespan. Gibbs & Dandy was very pleased with the quality of the work and the improved condition of their roof.
